8th Street Doctors of Chiropractic

Neil Barber, D.C.

Hi, I’m Dr. Neil Barber. I am a 1986 graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During my 4 years at CMCC I was fortunate to have been introduced to Thompson Terminal Point, a low force chiropractic technique I continue to practice today.

Early in my career I made the commitment to be a lifelong student. In 2005 I started taking Functional Neurology through Parker Chiropractic College and in 2013 I completed a 3 year program through the Carrick Institute. Since then I have continued taking programs with Functional Neurology Seminars and the Kharrazian Institute.

I love doing what I do. Particularly recently with the addition of Functional Neurology. Participating in people’s lives through the art, science and philosophy of chiropractic and functional neurology is a gift I am forever grateful for.

I practice what I preach to those I am privileged to care for. I eat well, exercise 3 – 4 days a week, do my neurological exercises, limit my “screen time” and get my spine adjusted regularly. These simple measures have provided me with a productive and healthy life.

I welcome you and thank you for visiting our website. Although we offer much more than Chiropractic our focus continues to be the delivery of advanced Chiropractic Care.

Mike Majeran, D.C.

Hi, I’m Dr. Mike Majeran. I graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1990 and am fortunate enough to be in practice for 30 years! I still look forward to my time at the clinic helping patients. I have had the opportunity to work with a very diverse group of patients, students of all ages, families, career people and the retired and, of course, athletes; both competitive and the weekend warriors.

I use a ‘hands on’ approach when treating patients with a “diversified” technique. As no two people are identical, the treatment technique can be modified depending on the need.  As we teach a healthy lifestyle, I do my best to ‘walk the talk’.  My own personal care involves regular exercise, managing life’s unavoidable stresses and the never ending quest to make good nutritional choices (chocolate still trumps everything) and of course, regular chiropractic adjustments.

When I’m not at the clinic, my time is spent enjoying time with my family.  My wife, Kelly, and I have two adult children so we get to watch them continue to grow and experience life.  I also enjoy being outside; camping, walking the dogs, and riding my motorcycle are favourite past times.

Thank you for your time on our website.  I look forward to the opportunity to work with you on your health and well-being.

Carly Berg, D.C.

Hi, I’m Dr. Carly Berg. I graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2025. Prior to attending CMCC I graduated from The University of Saskatchewan with a Kinesiology Degree.

I practice using a diversified technique, using manual therapy to get you back to feeling your best! I believe everyone deserves to move well and live without limitations, and my goal is to provide care that supports you in becoming the healthiest version of yourself.

I believe that learning never stops and I am committed to keeping up with the latest research and treatment approaches so I can deliver the highest quality care to my patients.

I am passionate about helping people of all ages move, feel, and function at their best. Using an evidence-based and patient-centered approach, I work with each individual to reduce pain, restore mobility, and support their unique health goals. My mission is to empower people to be their best self, whether that means recovering from injury, enhancing performance, or simply enjoying everyday life.

Having played softball, basketball, and volleyball competitively, I know firsthand what it takes to perform under pressure. Feeling your best is the foundation for achieving your best, and I’m here to help make that possible.

When I am not at the clinic, you will likely find me out for a power walk, at a Pilates or spin class or baking sourdough (my newest hobby). I also love to enjoy an evening socializing with friends or just staying in and watching a movie with my husband. I have a passion for travel and adventure, often seeking out adrenaline-filled experiences like skydiving, surfing, and paragliding. I also love spending time outdoors—whether it’s camping and hiking in the mountains or relaxing by a campfire.

I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me. I’m excited for the chance to work together to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.
